Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.
Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Athens keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 54 reviews, which is a strong result for a florist in Athens and suggests consistent service.
Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Athens is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

There were an stunning bridal bouquet and an amazing groom boutonnière that I ordered from this lovely young lady Jessica for my wedding this past weekend. She did amazing jobs on these two memorable pieces arts of love! On top of that, she made a little K9 floral piece for my dog who “volunteer to be the flower girl”! It was absolutely adorable! I will definitely recommend Jessica and Flower Inc to everyone!

The WORST place to order flowers. I understand Mother's Day weekend is a busy time, any holiday, BUT it took 3 phone calls to get this order right. I ordered Mother's Day flowers for my mom on a Friday, and flowers were delivered to her work, but it was the wrong bouquet. I paid $60 for a deluxe arrangement, and my mother received what looked like a $10 arrangement. Furious that I called at 930am, thought it was corrected by 3 hours, and at 1230, no one had tried or attempted to fix the issue. By 130, the CORRECT floral arrangement was delivered, BUT the vase was filthy and appeared "used" per my mother. Appeared fuzzy and not as clean as the first arrangement. Definitely will NOT be ordering from this company again. Such a shame, as I am an Athens native and currently live in Kansas City and thought I chose a great floral shop. I was proved wrong.

Absolutely love the sweet ladies that work there! They are super friendly and will deffinetly give you exactly what you want! Me and my dad came in for my moms birthday flowers after having no luck with multiple florist that didn't want to work with us. The florist asked us to pick out flowers and to tell us what mom liked and she made it right then and there. They made conversation like we were friends and gave us background on the plants she was putting in the arrangements. Would deffinetly recommend this place!

My boyfriend got me some flowers for my birthday from here and they looked amazing, fresh and colorful. Then, a couple weeks later I went in there to get my mom some flowers and the staff is sweet and make you feel at home! They get a A+ from me 100%, Not to mention they can wire out orders to different places and states that's a plus too if your women, mom, ect is out of town and your missing them just wire them some flowers to make them feel special don't forget the little things count
